“â€ĶI came to realise that God loved me way too much to let me work my way towards self glorification.”

Yes.💛

I have been both personalities.

Whilst being on stage and having a blog, it became a way to exalt my self. I became attached to the feedback.

After a while, the Holy Spirit convicted me of the pride, then the spotlight began to burn. I wanted to hide forever.

So, thank you. I pray this post comes to mind and I take it in little by little until it sinks.

Pride is very sneaky, it really does creep up through the things we supposedly do for God. That’s why our boast has to be Christ alone and nothing we are doing. I’m glad you could relate 🙏

I have found myself on both sides of the coin and you've put my thoughts into very apt words. The reminder that the good in me is the God in me is very much needed in this season.

Thank you, I'll be coming back to re-read this.

a very timely read, “self destruction is the time ticking bomb behind self glorification” this is so true. One thing i have come to realize in my walk with God is that you can’t truly serve or walk with Him if there is still self in the picture, it’s about Him not us, when we make it about us, that’s when the devil finds a way to introduce his lies in our lives.
