Yesterday I was panicking about a goal I have but am slacking on execution, so I began to make plans to hit the ground running, but with every item I wrote down on my to do list my heart felt slightly disturbed because it lacked the relationality . Being reminded that my why should come from God was a timely reminder that the focus of productivity isn’t in doing but the heart behind the doing which ultimately shapes the doing.

The heart behind the doing which ultimately shapes the doing! It's exactly that. Thank you for sharing

Hey, I really loved your write up but I’m struggling to understand what God-centered productivity actually means. Please can you explain a bit more with examples? I’m mainly interested in how I can apply it to my academics

Hey, so the whole idea is for God to be the fuel behind everything we do. He's not just reserved for church on sunday or quiet time in prayer. It's simply the acknowledgement of him being the force behind what you do.

In terms of academics you are not just looking at what's in front you as a meaningless task that has to be done for earthly reasons. It realising that God's plan is so detailed that you look at even your academics as a significant chapter in where God has you that serves as a chapter in your destiny. Man centred productivity is the opposite. It's simply doing something to impress man, or because you feel obliged or you feel God has no part to play in it. God centred productivity is simply about looking at everything through the bigger picture.

I haven’t heard this before but I am praying to GOd for better understanding. Productivity is one thing I am seriously struggling with and now that God’s love is getting realer to me by His grace I hope to be able to marry the two .

I’ll read it again and pray , thanks for sharing .

This is a beautiful explanation of how to maintain consistency. I can never be inconsistent again. The lens through which I lived by has been changed with a new one. Thank you so much 🤎
